On the way to being healthy

After your visit

We hope you received the quality care that we strive for during your visit, if you have any feedback, please provide it here. We have detailed some common questions that you may have after your visit.

  • Once our GPs have reviewed results in the practice you’ll receive an SMS, with either one of the following:

No action- meaning no immediate follow up is required, however if you experience worsening symptoms to contact your GP.

Routine follow up advised- your results have been reviewed and a copy has been sent to your regular GP. Make an appointment with them in the next couple of weeks.

Follow up- One of our GPs or nurses will give you a call, we suggest you return to the PPCC or attend with your regular GP as soon as practical to review your results and determine a plan.

  • If you ask the GP for a medical certificate during your consultation, they can provide it for you on the day. We cannot issue a backdated certificate if you forget to ask for one on the day. We can fax a copy of your discharge letter from your consultation to your regular GP or you are welcome to re-attend the clinic for a current fitness for work or medical certificate going forward, however it cannot be backdated to your attendance.

  • We can re-fax your discharge letter to your regular GP and you can book an appointment with them to discuss further. If you would like a personal copy the fastest way is to see your regular GP. If you still require a copy of your own medical records, SACC can post you a consent form which will need to be sent back to us. This process will take approximately 2 weeks.

  • Our practice sends copies of results and letter about what happened at the clinic to your regular GP, you will need to get in touch with your regular GP and make an appointment to see them. We are unable to give results over the phone.

  • Our practice is not for regular GP appointments it operates like a mini emergency department, so we cannot make review appointments. For normal GP appointments, you should make an appointment with your regular GP. If you cannot make an appointment, you are welcome to present to the PPCC where you will be triaged and if appropriate will be sent to our GP service. Depending on how busy it is, there will be a wait time.
